Berks Opera Company’s ‘Unleashing Your Inner Opera Fan’ to return Jan. 11

The “Unleashing Your Inner Opera Fan” series consists of presentati­ons highlighti­ng an upcoming Met in HD Opera.

The featured Opera for January is Cilea’s Adriana Lecouvreur. Learn all about this romantic opera based on the life, love and death of the famous diva, Adrienne Lecouvreur, who revolution­ized the art of acting. But she ran afoul of a powerful and jealous princess whose husband was an expert in chemistry.… and she died in mysterious circumstan­ces!

Each is about 60 to 80 minutes long, including multimedia presentati­on, featured guest artist, followed by dessert, coffee and wine.

The presentati­ons begin at 7 pm, unless otherwise noted.

Tickets are $20 for adults and seniors, $15 for students and young people under 30.

Payment can be made at the door by cash, check, VISA or MC or via PayPal at the BOC web site.

Residents at The Highlands of Wyomissing are admitted free.
