New principal to take reins at St. Aloysius Parish School
LOWER POTTSGROVE >> St. Aloysius Parish School is welcoming a new principal.
Father Joseph L. Maloney, pastor of Saint Aloysius, announced the appointment of Bonnie Delciotto as the new Saint Aloysius Parish School principal.
Over the past 21 years, Delciotto has been employed by the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. The majority of her experience has been spent at Holy Family School in Phoenixville.
She has served as an assistant principal, student support team coordinator, gifted teacher, resource room teacher, and classroom teacher. Delciotto also spent two years as the Director of Admissions at Pope John Paul II High School.
Delciotto brings a master’s degree in educational leadership, a K-12 principal certification, and a bachelor’s degree in elementary education.
“Delciotto is passionate about education and especially about Catholic education. She truly believes that all students should have the ability to receive an education rich in spiritual immersion, the ability to participate in community and civic engagements, the ability to build long lasting relationships, and the ability to be educated and challenged to make decisions and actions that are Christ-like,” the school said in a press release.
The school says Delciotto will work with faculty to create a future that is bright and promising by preparing our students to develop great faith, great minds, and great character.
“With her past experiences both inside and outside of the classroom, along with her educational accomplishments, she is prepared to work with our staff to
create a culture of learning that is not just highly effective but also a positive environment to learn and work,” the release read.
It is Delciotto’s overall goal to continue a positive culture of learning at Saint Aloysius Parish School, according to the release. She will strive to achieve this by creating relationships with staff, students, parents, and community members. She will establish high expectations that are clear and communicated, all while keeping the Saint Aloysius vision and mission in mind. She believes that all goals will be accomplished with teamwork and doing what is best for our students, the school said.
