Library CHAIR-ity fundraiser set for May 22 at the Carousel
POTTSTOWN » The Pottstown Regional Public Library will hold its second CHAIR-ity Auction fundraiser at The Carousel at Pottstown on Saturday, May 22, from 12 to 3 p.m.
Area artists have donated their time and talent, painting 20 chairs, 10 of them child-sized, to create beautiful one-of-a-kind works of art.
Twenty local businesses, groups, and individuals have sponsored the chairs and/or the event to make this fundraiser a success.
There will be food and drink, raffle baskets, and free rides on the Carousel, 30 W. King St., from 12 to 1 p.m., when the live auction will begin with celebrity auctioneer, George Wausnock, and will continue after the auction until 3 p.m..
To see each chair, check out the Library’s website — pottstownregionalpubliclibrary.org — and scroll through the “Coming Events” to the CHAIRity event information. Click on the picture and see each individual chair with artist and sponsor information.
