Frederick Living announces new CEO

FREDERICK » The Frederick Living board of directors has announced the appointment of Michelle Rassler as the new Chief Executive Officer.

Rassler currently serves as the vice president of Landis Communities and executive director of Landis homes. Rassler has a history with Frederick Living serving as vice president of operations.

After an extensive search, Rassler was the clear choice for the position, according to the board. She brings experience in senior living, serving in various capacities in retirement communities.

Rassler understands the importance of working with staff, residents, and the community to build on the strengths and 125year tradition of Frederick Living.

Rassler will begin her employment at Frederick Living on June 28. Rassler and current interim CEO, Jeremy Kauffman, will overlap for a short time to ensure a smooth transition.
