Scavenger Hunt benefits lake improvements
Enjoy an adventure-packed weekend of fun for the entire family during the Lake Improvement Association Grand Lake Scavenger Hunt, to be held Saturday, June 19 and Sunday, June 20 around Grand Lake St. Marys.
The Scavenger Hunt leads adventurers around the lake with stops at top attractions, where they can scan QR codes to find clues to discover the next location plus nearby activities and businesses. The event is playable by boat or by car and promises family fun for all ages.
Participants who complete the Scavenger Hunt will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win their share of $1,000 in cash and gift card prizes. The Scavenger Hunt will also feature a Facebook photo contest (tag photos with #GLSMhunt for a chance to win).
To enter, pick up a scorecard by June 18 ($20 each) at any of the following locations:
• St. Marys: Pantry Pride, Auglaize/Mercer CVB, St. Marys Chamber of Commerce
• Celina: Mercer County Chamber of Commerce
• Montezuma: Shoreline Bar & Grill
The event is designed to showcase Grand Lake St. Marys as a fun and safe family recreation destination. It’s presented by the Lake Improvement Association and sponsored by the Greater Grand Lake Visitors Region, Grand Lake Health System, Rocky Water Outfitters, Celina Vacuum, Lake Rat Brewing, Dairy Cone, The Outdoorsman, Plus One Professionals Real Estate, Lakeshore Marina, West Bank Inn and Designer Imaging.
