School board approves personnel items

ST. MARYS - The St. Marys Area School District Board of School Directors approved several personnel items during their recent meeting.

Among the latest personnel changes approved by the St. Marys Area School District Board of Directors are support personnel, health aide, and the awarding of numerous supplement­al contracts.

• Suzanne Smith was hired as a part-time classroom aide at SMAHS effective Feb. 22, at a rate of $9.85/hr. for 5.5 hours/day for five days a week.

• Loretta Saleh was hired as a health aide substitute

for all schools at a new contract pay rate.

Supplement­al contracts were approved for:

• James Hanslovan, softball assistant coach, at a pay rate of $1,389.

• Robert Young, girls softball assistant coach, at a pay rate of $1,389.

• Cheyenne Bothun, junior high softball head coach, at a pay rate of $500.

• John Coudriet, junior high baseball head coach, at a pay rate of $609.

• Aaron Bowes, volunteer assistant softball coach.

• Joseph Muccio, girls junior high softball volunteer assistant coach.

• Dominic Surra, volunteer girls softball assistant coach

• Calvin Grumley, baseball assistant coach, at a pay rate of $1,323.

• Scott Kellner, junior varsity baseball head coach, at a pay rate of $1,260.

• Doug Price, volunteer assistant baseball coach.

• James Werner, head track and field coach, at a pay rate of $2,315.

• Michael Kunes, weight room supervisor, at a pay rate of $15/hour.

All employment recommenda­tions are provisiona­l for 30 days pending pre-employment conditions are met and receipt of Act 151 clearance documentat­ion.

Employment terms presented for part-time employees may be subject to schedule changes provided hours worked are less than 29 hours per week.
