Grace Notes Studio to host Christmas concert Dec. 23
JOHNSONBURG The Grace Notes Studio of Wilcox will once again bring the annual Christmas Concert to Johnsonburg at the Holy Rosary Church on Thursday, Dec. 23, beginning at 7 p.m.
Grace Notes Studio produces a few professional Christmas concerts at The Kane Memorial Chapel and Holy Rosary Church in Johnsonburg every year. Due to COVID restrictions last year, the studio could not have in-person shows but instead did throw a virtual performance on December 23 for free on their Facebook Live page.
The Concert returns this year in person to highlight just some of the fantastic talent locally in both Elk and McKean Counties.
In previous years the Concert was performed at the Holy Rosary Church in Johnsonburg by Grace Notes Studios students and their friends. Artists came from all over Elk County and even as far away as New York City to entertain with voices and instruments, all with the Christmas Theme. Original compositions in 2019 were performed by Jacob Mosier of Kersey and Charlie O’Leary of New York City, and Two sing-along melodies brought the audience into the show in the beautifully decorated Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church in Johnsonburg. Highlights of the show included soprano Lyndsey Weidow’s outstanding performances of “Hallelujah” and “Mary Did you Know?”.
Please get in touch with the Grace Notes Studio through their Facebook page for more information on the Concert and how to secure your seat for this year’s performance.
