St. Marys Senior Center news
The St. Marys Senior Center is located at 72 Erie Ave. between Erie Avenue and Depot Street, directly across from the parking garage. Contact Director, Lesa Lamb at 781-3555 to find out more about the center. Stop in to pick-up your monthly menu and activity calendar. The director ' s hours are 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m., Monday-Friday. Coffee hour is 8:30-9:30 a.m. Please support your local center to keep it going. Anyone age 55 and over can become a member. Membership dues for 2022 are now being collected and are just $12 for the year.
Medicare Open Enrollment runs through December 7. The Office of Human Services specialist is available for phone appointments. Contact Lesa for details at 781-3555.
The center is resuming their activity schedule as best they can since reopening for eat-in lunches. Healthy Steps in Motion, (easy exercise) meets Tuesdays and Fridays at 10:1511:15 a.m . There is no charge. Call to check on card games and to get your name on the list, especially Pinochle on Tuesdays. Information sheets on good healthy habits, Medicare and self-improvement are handed out regularly.
There will be Music with Jim and Val Shaffer on Wednesday, Dec. 8 from 12:00 – 1:30. The meal is Meatloaf and will include a dessert.

The suggested donation for meals has just been updated to $4.00 per meal. Participants need to be age 60 and older. Others can eat for a $6.50 fee. Participants must get registered to be eligible for the discounted price.
MENU: For takeout or eat in, order by 12:45 p.m. the day before at the latest. Dec. 6-pasta fagioli ; Dec. 7 BBQ Ribs; Dec. 8 Meatloaf; Dec 9 Baked Chicken Breast; Dec 10 Lasagna; Dec 13 Beef Stew Dec 14 Cheeseburger; Dec 15 Sauerkraut and Pork; Dec 16 Ziti with Meatballs; Dec 17 Crab Cake Sandwich; Dec 20 Beef Tips Stroganoff. For the Christmas Holiday Meal on Dec 21, orders are due by Tuesday, Dec 14 at the latest. This will be a turkey dinner with all the trimmings and include Boston Cream pie for dessert.
