Ladies Candy League

The Bavarian Hills Ladies Candy League got underway Monday with the M & M’s leading the way with 57 points. Team members are Sharon Daniels, Judy Wendel, Annette Meyer and Alexis DeMonte. They were followed by Almond Joy 56, Mounds 55, Musketeers 54, Butterfing­ers 52, Kit Kats 50, Hershey’s 48 and Snickers 42.

Hole-in-one

The first hole in one at the Bavarian Hills this young season occurred on Sunday morning, May 1. The first player out for the day was Kevin Smith, who recorded his first career ace on the third hole at the Hills. Smith used a pitching wedge on the 140-yard par 3 hole. His witness for the shot was Paul Bierley.
