SMA swim and dive teams swept by DuBois on the road

The St. Marys Area girls’ and boys’ swim and dive teams were in action on the road against squads from DuBois Area High School on Thursday evening, with the DuBois squads sweeping both meets.

The Lady Beavers defeated the Lady Dutch by a score of 98-79, and the Beavers defeated the Dutchmen 63-53.

Gabby Pistner was a four-event winner for the Lady Dutch. Pistner placed first in both the 50 freestyle and 100 breaststroke and was also a member of the winning 200 medley relay and 200 freestyle relay teams.

Allison Geci and Sophia Condon were both three-event winners. Geci placed first in the 100 butterfly and Condon placed first in the 200 freestyle. Both were also members of the winning 200 medley relay and 200 freestyle relay teams.

Also for the Lady Dutch, Olivia Condon was a member of the winning 200 medley relay team, Sarah Krise was a member of the winning 200 freestyle relay team, and Lilliana McKay placed first in diving.

Jason McAnany was a four-event winner for the Dutchmen. McAnany placed first in both the 200 IM and 100 freestyle and was also a member of the winning 200 medley relay and 200 freestyle relay teams.

Jeff Schaut was a three-event winner. Schaut won the 200 freestyle and was also a member of the winning 200 medley relay and 200 freestyle relay teams.

James Pistner and Dawson Krug were both members of the winning 200 medley relay and 200 freestyle relay teams.
