Judith S. “Judy” Wurm, 74, of 203 Clarion Street, Wilcox, passed away Sunday night, March, 24, 2024 at Penn HighlandsD­uBois following a lengthy illness. She was born on April 1, 1949 in Kane, PA, a daughter to the late Joseph and Grace Kahle Zimmerman. On November 18, 1972 in St. Marys, PA she married Robert P. “Bob” Wurm, and he survives.

A lifelong resident of Wilcox, Judy was a 1968 graduate of Wilcox High School. She was a member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Wilcox. She loved spending time with her family and caring for her home and enjoyed crocheting blankets.

Judy had retired from Keystone in St. Marys after over 35 years of service.

In addition to her husband Bob at home, Judy is survived by sons Brian Wurm and his wife Margarita of Wilbraham, MA and Joseph Wurm of Johnsonbur­g and stepchildr­en Anne Frey of Somerset, PA and Steve Wurm and his wife Shawna of Lock Haven. Nine grandchild­ren and nine great-grandchild­ren also survive.

Judy is predecease­d by her parents, her brother Richard Zimmerman and a stepson Robert Wurm, Jr.

Friends and family are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial for Judith S. “Judy” Wurm to be conducted at Holy Rosary Church, Johnsonbur­g, on Tuesday April 2, 2024 at 10 a.m. with Fr. David Wilson, Pastor as celebrant. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Rasselas. Visitation will be private.

Arrangemen­ts are under the direction of the Anthony F. Ferragine Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 401 Chestnut Street, Johnsonbur­g, PA.
