ECC junior high track hosted SMA, Johnsonburg
The Elk County Catholic junior high girls’ and boys’ track and field teams played host to squads from St. Marys Area and Johnsonburg last week.
The Lady Crusaders defeated the Lady Dutch 106-39, while the Flying Dutchmen defeated the Crusaders 113-35.
The Lady Crusaders defeated the Ramettes 120-24, and the Rams defeated the Crusaders 90-46.
In the meet between the Lady Crusaders and Lady Dutch, SMA’s Mavis Caskey won the girls’ 100 meter hurdles in 18.8 seconds. Additionally, the Lady Dutch 4x800 meter relay team had a winning time of 11:45.8 and the Lady Dutch 4x400 meter relay team had a winning time of 4:53.4.
For the Lady Crusaders, Isabella Dixon won the shot put with a throw of 34’7.75”, Brielle Smith won the 100 meter dash in 13.9 seconds, Addison Gradl won the 1600 meter run in 6:23.1, Josephine Sorg won the long jump with a jump of 12’6”, Avery Stauffer won the 400 meter dash in 1:11.5, the ECC 4x100 meter relay team had a winning time of 58.53 seconds, Sophia Shirey won the 300 meter hurdles in 1:03.5, Jaydon Gabler cleared 5’6” to win the pole vault, Lanie Weisner won the triple jump with a jump of 28’2.5”, Isabella Dixon won the discus with a throw of 68’8”, Addison
Gradl won the 800 meter run in 2:52, Lanie Weisner cleared 4’6” to win the high jump, Avery Stauffer won the 200 meter dash in 30.4 seconds, Isabella Dixon won javelin with a throw of 73’3”, and Stella Stebick won the 3200 meter run in 15:41.9.
In the boys’ meet between the Flying Dutchmen and the Crusaders, SMA’s Jackson Wehle won the 110 meter hurdles in 18.6 seconds, the Dutch 4x800 meter relay team had a winning time of 10:10.4, Blake Kronenwetter won the shot put with a throw of 28’9.5”, Kaden Cribbs won the 100 meter dash in 12.6 seconds, Carter Dynda won the 1600 meter run in 5:09.5, Caleb Shine won the long jump with a jump of 15’6.5”,
Gavin Henry won the 300 meter hurdles in 48 seconds, the Dutch 4x100 meter relay team had a winning time of 51.2 seconds, Jackson Wehler won the triple jump with a jump of 34’10.5”, Carter Dynda won the 800 meter run in 2:25.3, Chase VanAlstine cleared 5’6” to win the high jump and also won the 200 meter dash in 25.1 seconds, Nico Assalone won javelin with a throw of 95’2”, Ryan Penn won the 3200 meter run in 12:42, and the Dutch 4x400 meter relay team had a winning time of 4:00.9.
For the Crusaders, Bruno Stager won the 400 meter dash in 1:02.8, William Chapman cleared 6’ to win the pole vault, and Dominic Williams won the discus with a throw of 84’4”.
Against the Ramettes, Lanie Weisner won the girls’ 100 meter hurdles for ECC in 19.3 seconds, the ECC 4x800 meter relay team had a winning time of 12:05.2, and the ECC 4x400 meter relay team had a winning time of 4:56.0.
Johnsonburg’s Bristol Mathis won the long jump with a jump of 14’1”, the Ramettes won the 4x100 meter relay in 52.28 seconds, and Bristol Mathis won the javelin with a throw of 84’4”.
Against the Rams, Louis Bish won the 800 meter run for the Crusaders in 2:32.3, and the Crusaders won the 4x400 meter relay in 4:28.4.
For the Rams, Mario Casilio won the 110 meter hurdles in 17 seconds, Johnsonburg won the 4x800 meter relay in 11:44.3, Alex Stockman won the shot put with a throw of 29’2”, Jace Zimmerman won the 100 meter dash in 12.4 seconds, Beau Schreiber won the 1600 meter run in 5:57.5, Jonah King won the long jump with a jump of 17’5” and the 400 meter dash in 49.8 seconds, Mario Casilio won the 300 meter hurdles in 44.2 seconds, Jonah King won the triple jump with a jump of 33’3”, Andon Lindberg cleared 4’8” to win the high jump, Mario Casilio won the 200 meter dash in 26.3 seconds, Oliver Dankesreiter won the javelin with a throw of 101’4”, and Beau Schreiber won the 3200 meter run in 12:42.
