‘walkSTEM’ program to debut at Pi Day Math Festival

Students from around the area will participate in a new, interactive learning program called “walkSTEM” at a Pi Day Math Festival from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at Sammons Park, 2403 Flora St.

The festival will feature almost 20 local organizations showcasing how math is an important tool they use to achieve their purpose.

The Dallas Zoo, Dallas Symphony Orchestra, Reasoning Mind, Baylor Jane and Jack Hamilton Heart Hospital, Dallas Museum of Art, Perot Museum of Nature and Science, Southern Methodist University, Texas Legends and others are scheduled to attend.
