CPS could use empty mansions

“Big bang — Mega-mansions need one thing — a buyer,” Sunday Business story.

As I read this article, I immediately thought of the children in Child Protective Services care who have no place to sleep other than their case manager’s office. Just one of these mega-mansions listed has 10 living areas, eight bedrooms and 22 bathrooms. Think of all the children who could be housed in this one home.

I don’t know how many of these are sitting vacant, but it would be a dream come true for these children in CPS care with no family to take them in or no place to go, to sleep in one of these mega-mansions, even if only for one night. Susan Cunyus, North Dallas
