New music fest to hit Reunion Tower lawn

The inaugural aTrolla Music Festival, featuring music of the ’60s, ’70s and ’80s, will take place on two stages on the lawn at Reunion Tower on May 6.

You can put on your boogie shoes with KC and the Sunshine Band or let Dionne Warwick show you the way to San Jose. Emote and relive The Karate Kid 2 with Peter Cetera.

The list also includes Tower of Power, Texas’ own Carolyn Wonderland, Survivor, Grand Funk Railroad, the Spinners, War, the Romantics, the Zombies, Delbert McClinton and B.J. Thomas.

Tickets are on sale at atrollafes­ for $89, with free admission for children 5 and younger. VIP tickets are $310 and $550. Be warned: The closer the date of the fest gets, the more it will cost.
