Windsong Ranch, the award-win­ning 2,030-acre res­i­den­tial mas­ter-planned com­mu­nity in North Dallas, is ex­pe­ri­enc­ing sig­nif­i­cant in­creases in daily buyer traf­fic and home sales for 2017. Im­por­tant com­po­nents of the in­creases are the growth along the U.S. High­way 380 cor­ri­dor and the area’s sub­stan­tial re­lo­ca­tion mar­ket. While these el­e­ments con­trib­ute to the spike in visi­tors, the devel­op­ers of Windsong Ranch point to the com­mu­nity’s full lifestyle of­fer­ing as the main rea­son more fam­i­lies are mak­ing the fi­nal buy­ing de­ci­sion.

“Our sales are up 140 per­cent over this time last year and our Re­al­tor traf­fic is up 202 per­cent,” said Craig Martin, found­ing part­ner of Terra Verde Group, LLC and de­vel­oper of Windsong Ranch. “We are see­ing our share of re­lo­cat­ing fam­i­lies and we’ve also tapped into a grow­ing pop­u­la­tion of Dallas fam­i­lies look­ing to get more value and en­joy­ment out of their com­mu­nity, along with a beau­ti­ful new home.

“Our buy­ers are telling us that yes, we are in the per­fect lo­ca­tion, but it’s the Windsong lifestyle, our ac­tive com­mu­nity event sched­ule, our amenity mix, the lo­cal tax rate and the new con­ve­niences be­ing built just in­side our front en­try that are the real rea­sons why they chose Windsong over other com­mu­ni­ties in the sur­round­ing area,” Martin said.

Windsong Ranch re­cently re­ceived the 2017 Peo­ple’s Choice Com­mu­nity of the Year.

Windsong Ranch is lo­cated at 1001 Windsong Park­way South, 2½ miles west of the Dallas North Toll­way, on the north side of High­way 380 in Pros­per. Upon com­ple­tion, it will con­sist of 3,100 sin­gle­fam­ily homes and 150 acres of mixed-use devel­op­ment along High­way 380.
