Fire scorches sacred Tibet Buddhist temple
BEIJING — A fire Saturday damaged one of the most hallowed sites in Tibet, the Jokhang temple in Lhasa, a day after the start of the traditional Tibetan New Year celebrations, official Chinese news media reported.
