Safety incidents: In 2011, a male staffer forced two girls to have oral sex with him, and a 6-year-old boy’s nose was broken after a staffer improperly restrained him. In 2012, a male patient exposed himself to two female patients and asked for “sexual favors.” In 2016, a patient hanged himself from a sprinkler head using a bedsheet. Last year, a lawsuit alleged that a 12-year-old boy had been raped by his male roommate at Millwood after the boy was given too much medication. The case is pending; the hospital denies wrongdoing. The hospital says it swiftly investigat­es safety incidents and takes action, including terminatin­g employees when necessary.
