Passport execution fee is increasing to $35
Effective April 2, the passport execution fee will increase from $25 to $35. The increase applies to U.S. passport applicants using the DS-11 form including: first-time applicants over age 16, children under age 16 and applicants who reapply after reporting their previous passport lost or stolen.
Customers applying with the DS11 form pay two fees: an application fee to the State Department and the execution fee to the passport acceptance facility.
Passport acceptance facilities such as post offices, clerks of court or libraries are designated to accept applications on behalf of the State Department. To find a facility, visit iafdb.travel.state.gov.
