Police seek man who raped woman at playground

Dallas police are looking for a man they say raped a woman in east Oak Cliff this month.

The victim told police she was walking to DART’s Morrell Station between 4:30 and 5:30 p.m. Feb. 3 when a man approached her near Claude Street and South Denley Drive.

Police said the man took her to a playground near the intersecti­on of East Kiest Boulevard and Van Cleave Drive, about 2 miles away, where he sexually assaulted her.

Police described the attacker as a black man who is 37 to 43 years old, about 6 feet tall and 220 pounds with a stocky build and short black hair. He was wearing a black button-up shirt and black pants, and he drove a newer-model silver four-dour Dodge Charger with black racing stripes.
