Federer starts slow but advances to final

ROTTERDAM, Netherlands — Roger Federer sealed a place in the final of the ABN AMRO World Tournament by beating Andreas Seppi 6-3, 7-6 (3) on Saturday.
In Sunday’s final, the 36-year-old Federer will win his 97th career title if he beats Grigor Dimitrov.
The two-time Rotterdam champion started slowly against Seppi but won the last four games of the first set to win it 6-3.
■ Petra Kvitova defeated topranked Caroline Wozniacki to reach the Qatar Open final and extend her winning streak to 12 matches. Kvitova overcame Wozniacki 3-6, 7-6 (3), 7-5 and will play Garbine Muguruza in the final. (Results, 17C)
