Behind 273yard ground attack, LA runs the Cowboys out of the playoffs

The Dallas Morning News - - Front Page -

Head coach Jason Garrett headed for the locker room after the Cowboys’ 3022 loss to the Rams on Saturday night in Los Angeles. Dallas’ normally stout run defense was unable to stop the Rams, who racked up a franchise playoffrecord 273 rushing yards. Ezekiel Elliott, Dak Prescott and Amari Cooper scored for the Cowboys, who haven’t won a playoff game on the road in 26 years.

Cowboys tackle La’el Collins tries to keep Dak Prescott (4) from being sacked as Dante Fowler (56) and Samson Ebukam converge on the quarterback. Prescott’s 266 passing yards couldn’t make up for the Rams’ 27350 edge on the ground.
