Bank of America adds $1M to Bush pledge

Bank of America is pledging an additional $1 million to Dallasbase­d George W. Bush Institute for leadership developmen­t programs targeting global health, economic opportunit­y, education reform, military support and women’s initiative­s. The institute will use the money for its school leadership and scholars initiative­s, veterans programs, First Ladies Initiative and Team 43 Sports, which is President George W. Bush’s wounded warriors advocacy organizati­on.

Bank of America previously committed $2.4 million to the institute’s programs.

The institute is the policy arm of the Bush Presidenti­al Center at Southern Methodist University.
