Easter Sun­day is April 21 this year, and we’ve put to­gether a sam­pling of brunches and spe­cials for you and your fam­ily to en­joy. Whether you want to take part in a fine din­ing ex­pe­ri­ence or pre­fer to bring home the bar­be­cue, D­FW has some­thing for you. Blue Mesa Grill

At this buf­fet­style brunch, guests can build their plates with items from five food sta­tions: street tacos; break­fast of­fer­ings like omelets and Bel­gian waf­fles; sal­ads and South­west mac and cheese; en­chi­ladas and adobe pie; and desserts in­clud­ing an ice cream sun­dae bar. Bul­lion

Nor­mally closed on Sun­days, the French restau­rant has cu­rated a one­day­only menu from chef­owner Bruno Davail­lon and pas­try chef Ric­chi Sanchez, both re­cent James Beard semi­fi­nal­ists. Your meal fea­tures a choice of hors d’oeu­vre and en­tree plus a trip to

the dessert bar. Hors d’oeu­vres in­clude op­tions such as oys­ters, steak tartare and grilled as­para­gus with pro­sciutto, and en­trees in­clude omelets, ri­cotta pan­cakes with mas­car­pone and blue­berry­lemon com­pote, grilled salmon and more. The kids’ menu has of­fer­ings like mac­a­roni and cheese, banana choco­late chip pan­cakes and cor­don bleu bites.

Crú Food and Wine Bar

Build your own three­course Easter brunch at Crú. The Napa­style prix fixe menu in­cludes ap­pe­tizer se­lec­tions such as mini Bel­gian waf­fles and en­trees in­clud­ing herb­roasted lamb loin with Mediter­ranean stuff­ing. Dessert choices in­clude molten choco­late lava cake. Bonus: The restau­rant serves $3 mi­mosas and Belli­nis ev­ery Sun­day, and all bot­tles of wine are one­third off.

The hotel will of­fer a menu of lo­cal and sea­sonal fa­vorites in­clud­ing soft poached eggs with green pea and kale pesto; French toast custard with jam; and shrimp and grits. Each ta­ble will re­ceive seed pack­ets of mint, thyme or rose­mary along with a small terra cotta planter to take home. The Easter Bunny will hop by for vis­its and pho­tos, and cus­tomers will be able to fill boxes with items do­nated by lo­cal busi­nesses for the hotel to de­liver to Shar­ing Life, a lo­cal non­profit that sup­plies do­na­tions to the North Texas Food Bank.
