The historic arts district is booming with culture and class, and this longrunnin­g spring arts festival will showcase the city’s recent catapult into coolness. Stroll through treelined streets and restored 19thcentur­y buildings that have been transforme­d into cafes, bars, boutiques, galleries and restaurant­s. The Local Artist Village will feature 150 juried artists, and the Student Art Tent will exhibit work by schoolage talents on the rise. Enjoy live music, dance and performanc­e art, as well as festival food, craft beer and Texas wine. Children can explore interactiv­e artmaking in a Kids Creation Station.
