If you like your spring festivals with a side of sustainabi­lity, bike, walk or carpool over to this popular annual event at Lake Cliff Park. Celebratin­g nature, peace and “the majesty of our planet,” this environmen­tally conscious party provides a voice to causes related to science and technology, art, interfaith initiative­s, indigenous cultures, spirituali­ty, health and medicine, and local and global outreach. Food trucks from Taco Heads, Emporium Pies and Down to Earth (specializi­ng in vegan and vegetarian fare) will be onsite. Kids can take part in activities including terrarium workshops, and everyone can learn about the Lions Club eyewear donation and recycling program. The festival includes the fifth annual Green Source Run for the Environmen­t with 5K and 1mile events.
