PLANO-MCKINNEY MUSIC AND ARTS FESTIVAL

Mckinney’s Myers Park, about 160 acres northwest of U.S. Highway 380 and North Central Expressway, will host this two-day outdoor festival featuring live music and other entertaine­rs, more than 80 arts vendors, a food court and beer garden, and classic cars, motorcycle­s, boats and RVS. April 17’s musical lineup will include Curtis Grimes, Jeremiah Johnson Band, Stone Senate and Mike and the Moonpies. April 18 will include the Georgia Thunderbol­ts, Wilson Brothers Band, Mike Zito and Texas Hill featuring Craig Wayne Boyd, Casey James and Adam Wakefield.

■ April 17-18 from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Myers Park and Event Center, 7117 County Road 166, Mckinney. Weekend passes are $10 in advance, $15 at the door, free for children younger than 12. Parking is free. planoartsf­estival.com.
