Aggies’ top scorer chooses to transfer
The Texas A&M men’s basketball team will be without its leading scorer next season.
Sophomore forward Emanuel Miller has entered the transfer portal, along with redshirt freshman guard Cashius Mcneilly, according to multiple reports.
Miller averaged a teamhigh 16.2 points in 2020-21, adding an average 8.2 rebounds per game to help the Aggies finish 8-10.
Mcneilly was a four-star recruit who medically redshirted his freshman season, then chose to opt out of the 2020-2021 season because of COVID-19 concerns.
Also Friday, the program announced it would add Grayson College transfer Aaron Cash. Cash averaged 15.3 points and 7.1 rebounds last season.
