OSV celebrates each year with a spectacular fireworks display over the Village Countryside in addition to regular daytime activities. Visitors can sign a giant Declaration of Independence and play 1830s-style “Base-ball.” The evening celebration includes music, magic, family games, and activities followed by a 30-minute fireworks display at dusk. Beer, wine, soft drinks, sandwiches and snacks, are offered for sale, or visitors can bring their own picnic food. 9:30 a.m.-5 p.m., seven days a week. Adults, $24; seniors, $22; children 3-17, $8; children 2 and under, free.
