Elmridge Golf Course is set on 250 acres of a former dairy farm in Pawcatuck, and its rolling hills are accented by a beautiful array of ornamental trees and flowers. The Clubhouse, whose floor-to-ceiling windows overlook three ponds, is available for weddings and special events of up to 100 guests. With a full bar and covered deck, it’s also a great spot to unwind and grab a bite to eat. Elmridge takes pride in using fresh, local meats and its restaurant menu boasts all the tasty pub classics: grilled chicken, burgers, salads and wraps. Check it out between 11 a.m. and 8 p.m.

New this year to the course Chris Medeiros as head pro, a revamped Pro Shop, a fleet of new carts, and an expanded playing schedule for the Men’s Club, to ensure the best participation for members at all levels.

Members regularly note the terrific condition of the greens, and say the variety of holes keeps the game interesting, particularly #5, a par 5 on the White West round. You can actually catch sight of this hole from the northbound lane on Route 95. Check it out if you’re looking for a challenge.

Since 1966, the course has offered an attractive combination of rates and services for groups, outings and tournaments, and the number of holes keep your game moving.

The course’s 225-yard driving range is open 7 days a week, and its mobile site lets you book tee times directly from your cell phone.
