BASKETBALL Dave Cornish Summer Basketball

Clinic — July 28-31 at Ledyard Middle School. Ages 8-12 are 9 a.m. through noon, ages 13-17 are from 12:30-3:30 p.m. Early registration is $100 per child, $90 for a second or third child from the same family. Ledyard Girls’ Basketball Camp — Tom Paul, the Ledyard Middle School girls’ basketball coach, will hold a basketball camp the week of Aug. 3–8. The camp will emphasize the following fundamentals: developing the proper mechanics of shooting, dribbling, passing, individual defense and rebounding techniques. Games will be played daily with instruction throughout the game on offensive and defensive situations. Each player will be given a camp T-shirt. The camp will run from 9 a.m.-noon at Ledyard Middle School. Fee: $42 per
