Day should push for I-95 sign repairs
I’m writing out of frustration and with the hope that The Day may have more influence on Connecticut’s unresponsive government than I, as a single citizen, have been able to have.
Basically, the problem involved is the complete deterioration of the reflective road signs on Interstate 95 when coming into Connecticut from Rhode Island. If a car or truck driver wants to exit at Exits 91, 92, or 93, I wish them luck. Not being able to see where to exit at night is a danger to all drivers.
Over the past three years I have talked with someone in the state’s department that handles signage, and have sent letters to the current governor. Nothing changes, nothing gets done. James Elesh Stonington
