Montville — Janet I. (Paul) Trenn, 73, of Uncasville passed away peacefully at Hartford Hospital on Monday, Feb. 27, 2017.

Janet spent most of her life in Montville but also lived in Felton, Del., with her husband, Elton R. Trenn, who predecease­d her.

While Janet loved to read and watch Hallmark movies, her greatest love was talking about her precious grandchild­ren and showing anyone and everyone their pictures. She worked as a foreman at Rand-Whitney Containerb­oard in Uncasville before moving to Delaware.

She is survived by her sons, F. Allen Paul and his wife, Susan, of Uncasville and Charles Paul and his wife, Christina, of Pleasanton, Calif.; her daughter, Lorrie Jenkins and husband, Donald, of Foxboro, Mass.; and grandchild­ren, Stephan and Melissa Paul, Alexandra Jenkins and Reneé, Karah, and Alia Paul; as well as a great-granddaugh­ter on the way. She also leaves behind her sisters, Barbara Chagnon of Tennesse and Susan Mauro (Michael) of Uncasville; sister-in-law, Julie Trenn-Perez (David) and brother-in-law, Ronald Trenn and her motherin-law, Ruth Trenn, all of New York City; and loving nieces and nephews.

She is also predecease­d by her first husband, Frank A. Paul Sr.

Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, March 12, 2017, at the Montville Funeral Home of Church and Allen, 53 Norwich-New London Turnpike, Uncasville. Burial will be private and at the convenienc­e of the family.
