Timothy Morgan

East Lyme — Timothy “Tim” Morgan of Niantic passed away on Wednesday, March 1, 2017.

He was born in New London to Harold and Florence Morgan. Tim graduated from Waterford High School, Class of ’64. He worked at Millstone power plant for 24 years with most of those years as a general foreman for laborers local 547. Tim was a life member of Elks 360. He loved working with his hands and was always ready to help someone with a project.

Tim is survived by his brother, George and wife, Ruth, of Ocala, Fla.; son, Tim of Charlotte, N.C.; significant other, Cindy Sutter of Niantic; companion and caregiver, Betty Ann Harris of North Port, Fla.; and his caring friends of North Port, Fla. and the New London area.

He was predeceased by his parents.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
