State Police — Montville Jose Luis Vazquez-Romero, 21, of 29 Crest St., New London, was charged Saturday in Montville with driving with a suspended license or registrati­on, traveling at an unreasonab­le speed and possession of less than a half ounce of marijuana.

Linda A. Marino, 59, of 84 Plain Hill Road, Norwich, was charged Saturday in Norwich with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to drive in the proper lane.

Ezekiel Shepard, 40, of Homestead, Fla., was charged Friday in Ledyard with second-degree failure to appear in court.

Anthony Whitley, 34, of 19 Moore Ave., No. 3, New London, was charged Friday in Middletown with operation of a drug factory, illegal sale of a controlled substance by a nondrug-dependent person, distributi­on of controlled substances within 1,500 feet of a school, two counts of possession of narcotics and criminal possession of a firearm or electronic defense weapon.

Bashon T. Whitely, 26, of Hartford, was charged Friday in Middletown with operation of a drug factory, possession of narcotics with intent to sell or dispense, distributi­on of controlled substances within 1,500 feet of a school, illegal possession of narcotic, possession of less than a half ounce of marijuana and criminal possession of a firearm or electronic defense weapon.

Kyle Hinderer, 34, of 94 Wawecus Hill Road, Norwich, was charged Thursday in Griswold with disorderly conduct, third-degree assault, threatenin­g, and second-degree failure to appear in court.

Ledyard Kayleigh N. Winkis, 26, of 296 Hamilton Ave., Norwich, was charged Monday with speeding and driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Stonington Peter Z. Terry, 19, of 28 Marie Ave., Pawcatuck, was charged Sunday with two counts of criminal violation of a protective order.
