Hanks — Billing
Ed and Sherry Hanks of Ledyard are delighted to announce the engagement of their daughter, Elise Roselle Hanks, to David Lee Billing Jr., of New York, N.Y. David is the son of David and Elaine Billing of Gales Ferry.
Both Elise and David are 2007 graduates of Ledyard High School. Elise graduated from Middlebury College in Vermont with a degree in literary studies. She is currently employed at the Young Women’s Leadership Network in New York City as the manager of corporate relations and volunteerism. David is a 2011 graduate of Harvard University with a degree in molecular and cellular biology. He is finishing his MD/PhD program at Columbia University in New York City.
Elise and David reside on the Upper West Side with their cat, Hal.
The couple is planning a September 2017 wedding in Stonington.
