Phyllis Cote

Norwich — Phyllis Anna Cote, 94, of Norwich, died Monday, April 3, 2017. She was the widow of Roland J. Cote Sr. She was born in Norwich and was the daughter of Francis and Anna Mary (Piechowski) Sakowski.

She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary 594, the MOCA No. 14, the P.L.A.V. Auxillary and the R.S.V.P.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Roland J. and Elaine Cote Jr. of Norwich. She is also survived by a granddaughter, Lynne M. Cote, a grandson, Lee Kevin Sakowski, her great-grandchildren, Alyssa Cote, Justin Cote, Abigail Morgan and Katie Morgan, as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by a son, Joseph R. Sakowski, her brothers and sisters, and a grandson, Robert Cote.

Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. on Thursday, April 6, 2017, at the Labenski Funeral Home, 107 Boswell Ave., Norwich, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, Norwich. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery Norwich.
