-

For the first time, 15 Connecticut Sun games will be televised on CSN New England during the 2017 season.

“We are thrilled to bring so many locally televised games to our dedicated fan base,” Sun vice president of sports Amber Cox said. “As our franchise continues to mature, increased visibility through all forms of media is a natural step in our growth process. With a team on the court that's on the rise, we want to share the journey of our 15th season with our fans.”

One of the premier sports stations in the region, CSN New England will begin broadcasting games May 26, when Maya Moore and the Minnesota Lynx visit Mohegan Sun Arena.

Other CSN New England broadcasts include games against Washington (May 31), San Antonio (June 3), Atlanta (June 10), Minnesota (June 17), New York (June 23), Dallas (June 25), Indiana (July 1), Washington (July 8), San Antonio (July 16), New York (July 19), Washington (July 28), Phoenix (Aug. 4), Atlanta (Aug. 15) and Phoenix (Aug. 20).

WCCT-TV also returns as a broadcast partner of the Sun for three road games, beginning with Saturday's game against the Indiana Fever from Bankers Life Fieldhouse at 7 p.m.

Beginning his 15th season with the Sun, Bob Heussler will deliver the play-by-play for all Sun broadcasts. He will partner with Sarah Kustok or Rebecca Lobo. Kustok works as a sideline reporter for the Brooklyn Nets, and she also worked for ESPN as an analyst and sideline reporter covering college football and men's and women's basketball. Lobo is an ESPN basketball analyst and 2017 Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame inductee, who led UConn to its first national championship in 1995 before helping to launch the WNBA. She finished her playing career with the Connecticut Sun.
