Primary care physicians John Lindsay, DO, and Marianne Longacre, DO, have joined Westerly Hospital’s medical staff and are accepting new patients. Drs. Lindsay and Longacre, who are employed by Northeast Medical Group, are located at 45 Wells St.

Lindsay attended medical school at the Georgia Campus of the Philadelph­ia College of Osteopathi­c Medicine and completed his residency at the Broward Health Medical Center. He has a special interest in helping patients with chronic disease management.

Longacre is double board-certified in family practice and in neuro-musculoske­letal medicine. She also attended the Philadelph­ia College of Osteopathi­c Medicine. She completed her residency at Massapequa General Hospital and Saint Barnabas Hospital. Longacre has practiced for 16 years in the Charlestow­n area.

Marc C. Scanapieco has joined the Westerly Community Credit Union as the small business lending officer. He comes to WCCU with over nine years in the banking industry, most recently from Bank of America as a small business banker, and is a graduate of University of Rhode Island with a bachelor of science degree in finance. Alexis Kahn of North Stonington has joined Chelsea Groton Bank as assistant vice president, business banking officer. Most recently, she worked for Credit Agricole Corporate & Investment Bank in New York as a corporate banker and relationsh­ip manager.
