Sprague — Charles F. Sadosky, 96, of Baltic, died peacefully on Thursday, Jan. 11, 2018.

Born in Norwich, on June 9, 1921, he was the son of Charles and Stella (Chinczynsk­i) Sadosky and was the loving husband of the late Eunice (Bradlaw) Sadosky. They were married Oct. 26, 1946.

Charles was a World War II veteran having proudly served with the U.S. Army. He last worked as the incinerato­r operator at the Norwich State Hospital. He was a member of the American Legion Post 4, the VFW Post 594 and the Disabled American Veterans. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, clamming and crabbing. He loved family get-togethers and watching western movies with his buddy Grady.

He is survived by his children, Carl Sadosky (Terry) with whom he made his home, David Sadosky, Richard Sadosky, Nancy Miller and John Sadosky; 12 grandchild­ren; six great-grandchild­ren, including his buddy, Grady, and his pretty girl, Willow; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predecease­d by his wife, Eunice, on Aug. 16, 1976; sons, Charles Jr. and Bruce Sadosky; and siblings, Stanley and Clarence Sadosky, Helen Holland and Stella Furr Smith; and his granddaugh­ter, Jennifer Sadosky.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 15, at the Woyasz & Son Funeral Home, 141 Central Ave., Norwich. Burial with presentati­on of military honors will follow at Maplewood Cemetery.
