New London — Maureen McDonald, a longtime New London resident, died peacefully on Friday, Jan. 19, 2018. She was the daughter of John R. McDonald of Oakdale and the late Josephine T. (Webber) McDonald, and the loving wife of Kenneth L. Klingman.

Maureen was the editorial page editor at the Norwich Bulletin for many years and last worked as a profession­al pet groomer.

Memorial calling hours will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 2, at the Woyasz & Son Funeral Home, 11 Jerome Road, Uncasville.

Donations in her memory may be made to Big Fluffy Dog Rescue, 1206 Russell St., Nashville, TN 32706.

Colchester — Anita “Gigi” (Berkowitz) Stollman, 86, of Colchester, passed away Sunday, Jan. 21, 2018. She was the widow of the late Hyman “Hymie” Stollman and leaves three sons, Steven (wife, Kristen), Carey (wife, Marcia) and David (wife, Mary); five grandsons; her sister, Estelle; and was predecease­d by four siblings, Eva, Celia, Myron and Samuel.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 23, at Congregati­on Ahavath Achim Synagogue, 84 Lebanon Ave., Colchester. Shiva will be observed Wednesday and Thursday at 6 p.m. at the Stollman Residence, 288 Old Hebron Road, Colchester.
