Kelly scores seven goals as the Wild­cats top Ber­lin

Nor­wich — Katie Kelly had seven goals and an as­sist as Nor­wich Free Academy won its fourth straight game with a 17-11 non­league girls' lacrosse vic­tory over Ber­lin on Mon­day.

Kay­ley Eric­son added four goals for the Wild­cats (5-2), while GG Guer­rier and Catie Shan­non each scored twice, Macken­zie Shrews­bury and Ria Kil­imos scored one goal apiece and goalie Jil­lian Brunelli made 12 saves.

Ber­lin is 1-2.

Boys’ lacrosse

• Rob Swen­son scored a game-high eight points as East Lyme out­lasted Bran­ford 14-8 in a non­league game. Swen­son fin­ished with five goals and three as­sists for the Vik­ings (3-1), who out­shot the Hor­nets 44-29.

Also for East Lyme, Con­nor Schofner and Ryan Bel­lan­dese each had two goals and one as­sist, Scott Galbo had one goal and two as­sists, An­drew Alden had a goal and an as­sist, Dal­ton Franco, Alex Jakubczak and Ai­den Pater­son each scored once and goalie Mac Fusaro stopped eight shots.
