Yale New Haven Health seeks to acquire Milford Hospital
Heather Mihailides, 51, of Voluntown was charged Friday in Griswold with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to drive right.
Kristin Descenza, 31, of Beverly, Mass., was served Friday in Montville with a fugitive from justice warrant.
Jonathan Limmer, 39, of 127 Niantic River Road was charged Friday with disorderly conduct and criminal violation of a protective order.
Richard Vessells, 40, of 129 Prospect St., Norwich, was charged Friday with speeding and driving without required interlock device.

Hartford (AP) — Yale New Haven Health is trying to acquire Milford Hospital, one of the last independent hospitals in Connecticut.
The Hartford Courant reports that if approved by regulators, Milford Hospital employees would become employees of Bridgeport Hospital.
Bridgeport Hospital is already a member of the Yale New Haven Health system.
Milford Hospital says that becoming part of Bridgeport Hospital, with support from Yale New Haven Health, would give it financial stability.
Milford Hospital serves about 50,000 patients in Fairfield and New Haven counties.
The acquisition would be the third major hospital restructuring this year in western Connecticut.
In March, Hartford HealthCare said it was planning to acquire a medical center in Bridgeport and Western Connecticut Health Network said it was merging with a network of hospitals in New York state.
