Jennie Losacano

New London — Jennie Ann Losacano, 89, passed away on Monday, Oct. 22, 2018. She was predeceased by her husband, Peter Losacano; as well as her sisters, Marion and Josephine.

Born May 19, 1929, in New London, she was the daughter of the late Saveno and Annetta Conti. She was a graduate of Williams Memorial Institute, Class of 1947.

Jennie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She found great satisfaction in doting over her family, cooking and making everyone feel special. Her open heart and generous spirit found her loved by all who met her.

Her greatest passion was her family. She is survived by her daughters, Linda Conti and her son-in-law, Bill, of Litchfield and Brenda Murray and son-inlaw, Gary, of Waynesboro, Va. She adored her grandchildren, Christian and Marissa (wife of Ryan Traeger); as well as her great-grandchildren, Ella and Mac Traeger.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Atria of Litchfield Hills and to Foothills Hospice for their compassionate care.

Family and friends may call at 11 a.m. Saturday, at the Thomas L. Neilan and Sons Funeral Home, 12 Ocean Ave., New London. Interment in St. Mary’s Cemetery will be private.
