Alice Means
Bolton — Alice Perko Means, 78, of Bolton, Conn., passed away on Saturday, Nov. 17, 2018. She was born Nov. 27, 1939, the daughter of Michael Perko and Mary Perko (Koss).
She and her siblings grew up in Chelmsford, Mass. In addition to being a caring wife and mother, Alice enjoyed quilting and was a member of the Clamshell Quilt Guild (Waterford, Conn.) and the Florida Cabin Fever Quilters Guild (Orlando, Fla.) She was an avid golfer and a member of the Tallwood Women’s Club in Connecticut and the Grenelefe Woman’s Golf Association in Florida. Alice was especially proud of her four holes-in-one.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 40 years, Richard Terry Means; son Robert Stewart and his partner, Natalie Alvarez; granddaughter Melissa Stewart; brother Michael Perko Jr. and his wife, Andrea; sister Lillian Corkum; two great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Alice was preceded in death by her parents; sister Rosealie Schemmer and her husband, William, as well as her brother-in-law Charles Corkum.
