STATE POLICE SEARCH OAKDALE AS PART OF 10-YEAR-OLD COLD CASE

Montville — Detectives from the state police Major Crime Unit based at Troop C in Tolland were in the Oakdale section of Montville this week as part of an ongoing investigation into an undisclosed missing person’s case.

The detectives were joined on Monday and Tuesday by at least three German shepherd police dogs and searched an area on Lisa Lane. A state police spokesperson said the search was related to a 10-year-old case regarding a missing person.

State police declined to release any further details. Montville Resident Trooper Sgt. Mark Juhola said he joined with fellow troopers but was not at liberty to discuss any details of the case.
