St. Bernard to induct 15 into Athletic HOF

The St. Bernard High School Athletic Hall of Fame committee announced the names of 15 alumni who will be inducted into the organization's Class of 2019 on Saturday, April 27. Individuals are eligible to be recognized for their participation as a player, coach or booster/benefactor.

Inductees will be Leo R. Facchini Jr. (Class of 1973), football, indoor track, outdoor track, assistant coach; William L. Satti (1976), wrestling; Daniel J. Costello (1978), baseball; Michael K. Walker (1979), football, baseball; Ellen Vos Metivier (1980), cross country, track; and Joseph S. Nowakowski (1981), football, basketball, baseball.

Also, John W. Mahoney (1982), soccer, baseball; Kenneth L. Coffee (1986), baseball; David Patenaude (1986), football, basketball; David Loane (1987), football; Jennifer Olsen Pratt (1987), softball; Father Kevin M. Reilly (1987), cross country, track; William D. Flowers (1988), basketball; William J. Gill (1989), cross country, track; and Brett D. Arnold (1991), swimming.

A recognition ceremony will take place at 6 p.m. in the Rev. Russell L. Boisvert Auditorium, followed by a catered dinner in the cafeteria.
