-

East Lyme High School officials announced an attendance procedure for Friday night's highly-anticipated boys' basketball team between the No. 7 Vikings and rival Waterford, ranked sixth in the latest New Haven Register/ GameTimeCT.com Top 10 state poll.

All spectators attending the game are asked to use the school's main entrance. Tickets will go on sale at 5 p.m. following completion of the freshman game. East Lyme officials will clear the gym after the freshman game to prepare the facility for the junior varsity (5:30 p.m.) and varsity (approximately 7 p.m.) games, and give everyone the same opportunity to purchase a ticket.

Two ticket tables will be set up along with a separate middle aisle open for ECC and East Lyme season ticket holders. Tickets will be sold and season passes will be accepted until the facility reaches its maximum capacity. East Lyme will follow all guidelines associated with occupancy levels with the help of the town's fire marshal.

Traditionally, student sections are as follows: the Waterford section is directly behind their team's bench on left upon entering the gymnasium, and East Lyme's student section is directly across from the East Lyme team bench.

For those unable to earn admission, the game will be streamed live on theday.com.
