TWO ARRESTED AFTER STABBING
New London
Emily Lynn Casey, 43, of 23 Connecticut Ave., Apt. A, was charged Wednesday with driving with a suspended license, driving an unregistered motor vehicle, unsafe backing and misuse of plates.
Norwich
Michael Z. Wanico, 24, of 363 Hamilton Ave. was charged Tuesday with second-degree criminal mischief and breach of peace.

Robert Bell, 59, of Griswold was charged Tuesday in Sprague with second-degree breach of peace.

Stonington — Police have arrested two people following a stabbing during a domestic disturbance at a residence on School Street on Tuesday evening.
Corey J. Novak of 239 Flanders Road was charged with second-degree breach of peace. Paul H. Derderian of 7 School St. was charged with second-degree assault and second-degree breach of peace.
The two men were involved in a verbal altercation that later became physical, police said. Novak got upset during the altercation and grabbed Derderian by the throat. Derderian then grabbed a knife and stabbed Novak in the shoulder, causing a laceration, police said.
Novak was transported to Lawrence + Memorial Hospital with minor injuries and was given a summons. Derderian was taken into custody and later released on a $10,000 nonsurety bond.
Both men were scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday.
