They will be invincible
I guess it’s true that the couple that plays together, stays together. In the case of Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo, they’ve been playing music with each other for four decades — and they’ve been married since 1982.
They are celebrating their 40th anniversary as musical collaborators by, of course, performing. They are out on tour, coming to Foxwoods on Friday.
If they sound as good as they have when I have seen them in recent years, concert-goers are in for a fabulous night.
And not only will Benatar and Giraldo be powering through hits like “Hit Me with Your Best Shot,” “We Belong” and “Love Is a Battlefield,” but the event will also feature performances by Melissa Etheridge and Liz Phair. This show is bound to rock.
Pat Benatar, 7 p.m. Friday, Foxwoods’ Grand Theater; with Neil Giraldo, Melissa Etheridge, Liz Phair; $55-$95; 1-800-200-2882.
